Susan McKinney

Susan McKinney Susan McKinney has more than 10 years of experience in the geriatric healthcare field and has been a part of the Lifetime Wellness team since February 2007. Her compassion and leadership help direct our teams to provide quality programs for those we serve.

Susan holds her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist through NCTRC. She also is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT). Susan helps train and educate in the areas of wellness/recreation services, customer service, and dementia care. She loves teaching and supporting others to help educate and reach their own personal goals.

She is an active member of the National Association of Activity Professionals (NAAP) and the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners (NCCDP). In addition to her passion for her work, her life is full of family; being a wife and mother of two children, and participating in church activities where she volunteers regularly for the Jobs For Life program.
