Meet Our Team

Callie Whitwell began her healthcare career in 1996 working in the field of Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation before directing a Hospital-Based Community Wellness Center. In 2005 Callie was recruited to start Lifetime Wellness and is one of its founding partners. Her passion for people and love for wellness helps her lead this company to touch the lives of those served each day.

Callie completed her Master of Science at University of Louisiana Monroe in the field of Exercise Science. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Louisiana College in Education. Callie loves motivating and leading others with quality being her most regarded value. She enjoys working with the amazing team she has been honored to help assemble over the years. Callie loves her husband, Andy, their 2 girls, Emerson and Peyton, and time with them brings her immense joy. She is active in her church and enjoys all sports, exercising, and reading. Callie Whitwell, Chief Operating Officer

Tracy Gunter knows the healthcare and rehabilitative industry well, having worked in it since graduating from Northwestern State University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) in 1993.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Louisiana College in 1990.

He is Co-Founder/CEO of Lifetime Wellness, and also serves as CEO/Managing Partner of Rehab Pro which provides comprehensive physical, occupational and speech therapy services in 60 plus locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma and Colorado. Today,  Lifetime Wellness and Rehab Pro provide synergistic services to 140 plus contracts in the Skilled Nursing, Assisted/Independent Living and Acute settings.

Mr. Gunter started Rehab Pro in October 2001, after more than 11 years in the rehabilitative services field. In 2006, he Co-Founded and launched Lifetime Wellness with Callie Whitwell and John Taylor.  His straight-forward approach and astute knowledge of the rehabilitation/wellness business provides him with the unique expertise to manage these service specific companies.

He and his wife reside in Tyler, Texas where he enjoys his church, community and various outdoor and sports related endeavors.

Susan McKinney has been a part of the Lifetime Wellness team since 2006 when she started as a Wellness Specialist. She has more than 20 years of experience in geriatric healthcare beginning with volunteer work, internships and then her work as a Recreational Specialist for Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Rehab.

Susan earned her Bachelor of Science in Recreation Administration with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from Texas State University in 2002. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist through NCTRC. She is also a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease & Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT) & Practitioner (CDP) through NCCDP.

Susan greatly enjoys working with our team members to give them the tools and support they need to be successful. She values the opportunity to develop programs and resources that can be carried out for the seniors we serve. Susan’s compassion and leadership have shone through her work as an educator – teaching ADDC seminar multiple times each year and as a guest speaker at NAAP and other conferences.

In addition to her passion for her work, Susan’s life is full of family; being a wife and mother of three children. She finds joy in opportunities for family time whether it be walking their dogs, camping, attending sporting events or game/movie nights. Susan loves to travel, explore new areas and cultures, and celebrate all the special days in big ways.

Susan McKinney, Vice President of Operations

Robin Gill has over 25 years of experience in the wellness industry working in fitness management in her earliest years. She is a graduate of Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science & Sports Studies. In addition to her college education and years of experience, Robin has been certified as an NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Group Exercise Instructor, Arthritis Foundation PACE Instructor and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Activity Director.

Robin applies her dedication for program integration, staff development, management, and operations with her passion for health education, fitness, and wellness to the geriatric population. She has enjoyed using her education and experience to develop new programming that is shared throughout Lifetime Wellness and to directly provide meaningful engagement to the residents we serve.

Robin and her husband, David, along with their two daughters moved to Texas from the East Coast in 2014 to join our team. As a family, they enjoy spending time outside hiking, gardening, and playing in the backyard when they are not at a volleyball tournament or Irish dance competition. Robin brings balance to her life through art, musical theater and listening to podcasts.

Robin Gill, Regional Wellness Director

With a desire is to lead by example and provide meaningful motivation for a lifestyle change, Stephen Chee joined the Lifetime Wellness team in 2009 and is committed to delivering the highest quality wellness program for the caregiver.  Stephen has a genuine love and compassion for the health and well-being of others. The experience of becoming his father’s personal caregiver instilled and established his life-long servanthood and purpose. Stephen sincerely enjoys caring for and helping others on a daily basis, and he celebrates how his work with Lifetime Wellness has helped him become a better person, communicator, leader and friend.

Stephen’s experience includes a background in consulting, marketing, information technology, and more than 20 years of healthcare experience.  Stephen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with education and training from institutions to include the University of Oklahoma, Boston University, The Coopers Clinic, and SMU COX School of Business.

Stephen is a lifelong learner who takes every opportunity to learn and grow. He loves to cycle, attend bootcamp, exercise, enjoy healthy foods, spend time with loved ones and pursue spiritual practices.

Stephen Chee, Director of Employee Wellness

Spencer Ball had his first experiences with the senior population in the healthcare industry when he worked as an EMT in 2017. That experience taught him about how to best serve seniors and connect with them in ways that made them feel safe and heard. Spencer earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2019 from the University of Mississippi. He is currently working toward a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Spencer loves seeing the direct impact that our work has on residents and caregivers, that it matters to them and can profoundly influence their lives. He is fascinated by how the six dimensions of wellness are intertwined and that to live a truly healthy and happy life one must nurture each dimension in a personalized way.

Spencer is an active member of Watermark Community Church in Dallas where he has found a spiritual home. He enjoys being active in any way he can – running, hiking, playing pickup basketball, and weightlifting. He also loves spending time with family and friends, reading, and listening to all kinds of music.

Spencer Ball, Business Development

Her deep love for making a difference in the lives of others brought Tammy Bugbee to the Lifetime Wellness team in February of 2013, and now she mentors and guides other activity professionals who also make a difference. Tammy is a Nationally Certified Activity Director, Certified Dementia Practitioner, holds a Montessori Dementia Engagement certification, and a trained senior fitness instructor. She is currently enrolled at The University of Texas at Tyler working on her Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences with a thematic concentration in Human Behavior.

Even as a child and teenager, Tammy was drawn to working with the senior population and spent much of her free time volunteering in long-term care and assisted living facilities. She started out as an Activity Director in the Dallas area, and has spent her entire career pursuing her passion of working with seniors, specializing in Alzheimer’s and dementia. Tammy pours her heart and much of her time into volunteering with organizations that benefit the senior population such as The Alzheimer’s Alliance of Smith County, THCA, Music & Memory, and Health and Human Services. She has served as the Vice President of the East Texas Activity Professional Association, working to help educate and guide quality professionals into the field.

Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and extended family. She lives out a personal commitment to wellness by making time to read, listen to audio books and music, writing, swimming, practicing archery, seeking higher education, and learning new things. Through her work with Lifetime Wellness and in her daily activity, Tammy feels that she is answering her true calling in life.

Tammy Bugbee, Regional Wellness Director

With a deep passion for Alzheimer’s/Dementia and memory care services, Eileen Plunk joined the Lifetime Wellness team in 2009. She earned her Master of Science in Education (Recreation Education and Therapeutic Recreation) from Lehman College, and her Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation and Gerontology from Ithaca College. Eileen is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist and holds a certification as a dementia practitioner (CDP).

Eileen began her work in the long-term care industry over 20 years ago as a recreation assistant in a Skilled Nursing Home in Brooklyn, NY. Her role within our company has changed over the years, starting as a Wellness Director in Houston. She now serves as an Area Wellness Director helping many facilities and staff with leadership and support. She enjoys being a part of the Lifetime Wellness team and the opportunities it affords her to have a positive impact on so many individuals each day.

Eileen loves her husband and family very much. When she is not running around for the many activities of her three amazing, young children – baseball, softball, soccer, dance – she makes time for her personal wellness by running, going to the gym, cooking, crafting, and traveling.

Eileen Plunk, Area Wellness Director

Amy is a lifelong learner with a passion for helping others learn and grow at every age and stage of life. She has primarily lived out her calling as an educator in church settings working with children, youth and adults. She directed a campus ministry at Kilgore College where she also taught several college classes in their Biblical Studies program. She first started working with Lifetime Wellness nearly 10 years ago when she created Spiritual Wellness resources that seniors could use for daily devotionals. Amy has also worked in several Lifetime Wellness facilities as a Chaplain and Wellness Assistant. She continues to help develop programs and resources that are whole person-focused.

Amy earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a minor in Writing from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also earned a Master of Theological Studies with an emphasis in Christian Education from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. She has lived all over East Texas, but she is happy to currently reside in Nacogdoches with her husband, Nathan, and three sons.
